Katherine Scheer is Head of Product at MagicMirror Security, an AI workspace security startup that gives enterprise employees full use of AI tools without exposing sensitive data. A founding member of the team, she has spent nearly three decades building and architecting enterprise software, with deep experience across Enterprise SaaS, GenAI, and Cybersecurity, a foundation that shapes how she thinks about giving organizations visibility into AI use without slowing teams down.

Before joining MagicMirror, Katherine was a Founding Partner and product consultant at BLDG, a startup studio providing "cofounder-in-a-box" product leadership to early-stage and growth-stage B2B SaaS companies, from initial ideation through Series A/B funding. While at BLDG, she served as Head of Product for Outset, leading the startup's product strategy and build.

Earlier in her career, Katherine was Senior Director of Product at Mavenlink, where she led the M-Bridge integration and extensibility platform and the company's business intelligence and analytics platform. She also worked as a Principal Technical Product Manager at Hover, strengthening system reliability and scalability, and as a Business Analyst Senior Advisor at Dell, where she managed security vulnerability identification and cryptography compliance (FIPS) across the company's global R&D delivery system. Before that, she was a Product Architect at Quest Software, where she designed Stat, an industry-leading change management and version control platform still used across the PeopleSoft and Oracle ecosystem. Her career began as a Systems Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, leading functional and development teams on PeopleSoft financial and HR system implementations and data warehousing builds for executive and SEC reporting.

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
