Dr. Amir Give'on is one of the founders of MagicMirror Security, an AI workspace security startup that gives enterprise employees full use of AI tools without exposing sensitive data. A former NASA-JPL engineer and Princeton Ph.D., he has spent over a decade building machine learning systems that detect what others miss — extracting faint signals from noisy, high-dimensional data, a discipline that translates directly into modern AI security.

Before joining MagicMirror as Head of AI, Dr. Give'on was Staff ML & AI Engineer at Black Ore, an a16z-backed AI company, where he built LLM guardrail systems for highly sensitive financial data — hallucination detection, grounding verification, and audit-trail pipelines for regulatory compliance. Prior to that, he developed real-time threat detection systems combining computer vision with behavioral anomaly clustering, and early-detection models in healthcare that surfaced signals weeks before they became visible to conventional methods. His career began at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he invented the Electric Field Conjugation algorithm — now the industry standard for detecting planets hidden in starlight — the ultimate needle-in-a-haystack problem.

Dr. Give'on holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, and completed postdoctoral research at Caltech.
